" Since they were little, Kenneth always believed his brother to be superior to him in every aspect. Even the fame he had, he credited to him emulating his brother, Donald.

He said," If Donald wanted, he could take over the world with his intellect but because he loved books so much he devoted his life to it." I never knew my husband was such a figure that even the person I respected the most looked up to him."

" It tooks years to undone what I had done in secret but we were able to return to the family with our head held high. In the meantime, we grew closer. He may be an exceptional man when it came to intellect but I always had to be the aggressor in our relationship. " Mhmm.." Suddenly they heard someone clear their throat. It was Donald who looked embarrassed about everything.

" I will ask you to refrain from talking about our private life."

" Oho, I never knew you could make that face. Are you embarrassed I will spill your dirty secrets?" Patricia chuckled. Donald looked so calm and collected but whenever the talk of love gets into conversations, he turned into a teenager!

" Honey~"

" Before that were you listening to our conversation? Where is that brat ran off to?" She asked.

" I wasn't. It's because I am worried what he would do. I saw him abruptly leave few minutes ago." Donald was only trying to inform them about it.

" Let him be. They should reap what they sow." Patricia snorted.

" Do you know why I kept you here for so long? It's because I see myself into you, just a little. I feel like you are overthinking it going deeper into a death spiral that would not be good for anyone." Patricia did hear about her sobbing life story. There were many parts of her not being enough and her self doubting about her relationship with Samuel mixed in there.

" Mhmm.."

" Sami is the most kindest and exceptional kid I have ever seen. He is diligent and works hard always trying to do things on his own but he has a massive weakness." Donald added.

" Weakness?" Kate asked.

" That's right. Do you know what his life goal is? It's to make others life better. He was so little and malnutritioned when he first arrived in this house. After few years, he outright said that his vision was to not have more people like him. It gives him strength and purpose in life but at the same time he keeps challenging the norms of this world."

" Is that so?"

" It also doesn't help that he is handsome and always surrounded by girls but one thing I know about him that he would never let any of them down. He is also honest to the core. I can't see him deceiving anyone except when it comes to business, he is a shrewd bastard!" Patricia stated.

" That's why, you don't have to doubt yourself so much. He might be born in a different era but having a charisma to pull people closer to him might be the reason that he is like that. You should held your head high and accept him because he will fight for you until the end even if you don't him to. Beside, I fully believe in his ability to judge people."

" That's right, he never had any weird friends or got into trouble for doing anything bad. No matter where he goes, those who know him personally sing his praises. He reminds me so much of you minus the romantic part." Patricia chuckled again. She loved teasing her husband.

" Please act like you age." Donald sighed seeing her behave like a school girl.

" But, where did he go? What if he do something-" Kate was even more worried when she heard them. She knew how angry he looked when escorting her out of the room. Won't she become the reason for him to fight with everyone in that room? She started to feel guilty.

" Silly girl. Do you ever anything that I have to say?" Patricia ruffled her hair.

" Instead of fighting, I think within few minutes, you will see something exceptional. Even if my brother is dense sometimes, he was raised to uphold what was right. I am sure they would be coming here as we speak."

" Here?" Kate didn't know what they were talking about. Why would they come here? But just like he said, soon she saw the door open and everyone that was present in that room enter through it.

She started to panic but soon, Samuel came to her side and grabbed her shoulder to let her know that he was there for her. She suddenly remembered Patricia's story,' Is that what she felt when her husband came to her rescue?'

She waited for them to speak but they did something that she never expected!
