Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Chapter 252: Successfully promoted to King stage

As he pondered this level cap, a new notification appeared in front of him, seemingly awaiting his decision.

[A different promotion detected; please proceed with spirit body drawing]

[Perform spirit body drawing? Yes/No]

"Spirit body?" Lein muttered the unfamiliar term, intrigued. It seemed to be a unique specialization suited to the level he was entering this time. His thoughts wandered, wondering what kind of spirit body he might obtain. Perhaps something that could maximize the potential of his dream element?

With a slight smile at the corner of his mouth, he chose "Yes" without hesitation. A surge of anticipation rose within him; his hopes were high—maybe this spirit body would elevate his dream element to extraordinary levels.

The drawing animation moved quickly, white mist spinning on the screen, then shifting into a bright white light. Shortly after, the result appeared before Lein.

[Congratulations, you have obtained (Spirit Body): Eternal Dream Body]

Lein was momentarily silent, examining the details of the new spirit body he had acquired. "Eternal Dream Body…" he whispered in near disbelief, his eyes tracing the description provided by the system.

[Eternal Dream Body]

A body with perfect synchronization for the master of the dream element. Enhances the dream element to its maximum potential.

- Abilities: (Eternal Dream Prison), (Dream Domain), (Dream Blessing)

(Eternal Dream Prison): The ability to draw enemies into an endless, timeless dream, trapping them there forever.

(Dream Domain): Creates an aura of dreams that traps enemies with weaker minds in a dream world.

(Dream Blessing): Increases the power of the dream element by tenfold.

"Eternal Dream Prison… Dream Domain… Dream Blessing…" Lein repeated each ability in both awe and slight confusion, then chuckled softly. "What is this? The explanations aren't even specific, as if this spirit body is incredibly powerful yet without any high-level embellishment or flashy name."

Despite being slightly bothered by the lack of details, a sense of satisfaction filled his heart. After all, the spirit body he had received seemed crafted for his dream element. A perfect blend of strength and synchronization, this body felt like the embodiment of the dream itself.

Suddenly, another notification appeared, and his eyes widened as he read it.

[A different promotion detected; requirements for promotion to King stage met]

[The ruler has successfully promoted to King stage]

[Becoming the first human of the blue planet to reach Tier-King. Title earned: (King of Humanity)]

[Do you want to announce your promotion? "Yes"/"No"]

Lein observed the notification of his promotion to the King stage on his notification panel. Right after the collection of it appeared, an overwhelming energy flooded his body, nearly startling him into thinking he was under attack by a powerful entity.

"So strong," Lein muttered as he tried to contain the force that kept surging into his body.

Lein felt like a dry sponge placed into a bucket of water, absorbing all the surrounding energy rapidly. Alongside the influx of power, he could see an extraordinary distance from where he stood.

His senses continued to expand, reaching farther and farther, and he could even feel the countless monster islands around the Dominion's astral vessel. Not only that, even his own island, which he had left some time ago, entered his view. Hundreds of thousands of nearby islands, large and small, as well as inter-island ships, were also visible within his gaze.

"Amazing…" Lein muttered enthusiastically.

The process of absorbing the energy continued, and he remained still, trying to stay calm and allow all the energy to flow into him.

For the moment, his gaze fell on the promotion announcement notification. Without hesitation and without a second thought, he quickly rejected it.

"No."

There was no point in letting others know about his cultivation level; he didn't expect anyone to offer him any help. On the contrary, people would likely start to swarm him for the tiniest bit of benefit.

Shortly after, the energy absorption process was complete.

Lein took a deep breath, attempting to calm himself, inspecting every part of his body after advancing to the King stage.

Pausing for a moment and stretching his body slightly, Lein felt a newfound freedom, as if he could float like a bird if he desired. Besides that, his vision had become sharper, as had his instincts.

Looking around with his now gleaming dark eyes, everything appeared crystal clear. He could even see an ant searching for food in a corner of the floor, directly into the control room of the combat ship, and the closest island around the astral dominion with sharp clarity.

"Unbelievable," Lein remarked in admiration. Advancing to the King rank had granted him an ability he had longed for. He could see through walls—an ability much sought after by children in the past.

As Lein entered the King stage, he felt not only an enhancement in his vision but also in his perception. Every person's inner thoughts around him now echoed faintly, like soft whispers in the air, even without him deploying dream energy, which he usually used to read minds.

"He is truly strong, like the island's ruler…" came a voice in the heart of one man, filled with hope and admiration.

"Lord Lein never feared that weak organization," whispered another's heart, emanating deep respect.

Lein listened quietly, a faint smile forming on his face. Their inner voices, filled with admiration and ambition, made him reflect. Though sometimes selfish, humans always had the desire to grow stronger—a trait he knew well from his world of origin.

"That is indeed my primary goal," Lein thought as he pondered. "To make humanity the strongest race."

He shook his head, ending his daydream. When he focused again on his own body, his eyes caught sight of something new: clusters of dream energy floating around him. This energy looked different from before, now brighter and moving with an impressive vitality, as if responding to his increased power.

"Have you grown stronger as well?" Lein murmured in awe, observing the dream energy.

Previously, this energy appeared plain, without any particular shine. But now, these clusters glowed, radiating with a pure power he could sense distinctly, adding a luxurious, magical aura around him.

With a slight desire, he tried moving the energy. The dream energy clusters reacted, moving in the direction he wanted.

As before, he directed the energy to form the letter "O," then "A." With increasing excitement, he combined the clusters, creating complex shapes and spatial patterns, as if he were weaving dreams into reality.

"So efficient," Lein muttered, amazed at the smoothness of his telekinesis. He marveled at how easy it was to control this energy, even moving it according to his will brought a unique satisfaction.

"Can I open a portal?" Lein wondered aloud. For a long time, he had anticipated the ability to split space, envisioning how amazing it would be to do so and travel wherever he wished.

With full excitement, he stood tall, directing his dream energy to an initial point he designated in the air. The energy spiraled slowly, then shot downward, forming a path that shimmered brighter as it moved. Gradually, a small crack appeared along the energy trail, like a rift on the surface of reality, revealing a glimpse into another dimension.

"Incredible… I can split space!" Lein shouted in his heart, his pulse racing with satisfaction. He had always dreamed of opening mysterious portals, but now he was actually doing it.

With enthusiasm, he widened the crack until it reached two meters, peering into the gaping void. The dream energy floated back to its place, following his will perfectly.

His gaze was filled with curiosity as he approached the crack. Slowly, he extended his hand and touched it. The sensation he felt was ordinary—no resistance, no foreign feeling. With growing confidence, Lein continued to push his hand through the crack, then his shoulder, until his entire body entered, hoping the teleportation would take him somewhere else.

"What?!"

Lein was surprised and looked around. Instead of being taken to a distant location, he remained standing in the same place, feeling like a fool. He muttered in confusion, "Do I need to mark the destination to teleport?"

Curious, he spoke into the surrounding air. "Hey, System… how do I use the portal I just created?"

Silence lingered for a moment until finally, a soft voice from the system explained

["You must mark the target location, especially if you want to move to a faraway place. Create another crack at the desired destination."]

"Huh?" Lein frowned, not fully understanding. "Make another crack?" he repeated, trying to comprehend the system's instructions, connecting the logic behind this new technique.
