The Strongest Dragon in the Era of Beast Taming

There wasn’t much interaction between the Flowery Kingdom and Sakura Soul Country.

That was because the East Sea, which separated the two countries, was inhabited by countless oceanic beasts with formidable strength; even Epic masters could perish at the hands of these endless sea creatures if luck was against them, not to mention the presence of many Class VIII Emperor beasts deep within the East Sea.

David Jones’s knowledge of Sakura Soul Country was limited; he only knew that its strongest individual was known as the Heavenly Soul Master, whose power could rival that of Legend-class warriors.

“Was it the oceanic beasts that struck?” asked David Jones.

“You could say that,” Tracy Harvey said with a strange expression, “You should know about the Yamanano Brahma Dragon that resides deep in the East Sea.”

Sakura Soul Country favored the use of soul pets, commonly referred to as Spirit Masters, or colloquially as Onmyoji, while the so-called soul pets were the spirits left behind by the beasts after death.

Yes, that’s right. Unlike the mainstream approach of the Flowery Kingdom, when Spirit Masters encountered a pet they desired in the wild, they would kill it immediately and then forcibly bind and refine the beast’s spirit into a soul pet to command.

Perhaps due to a flaw in the Mystic Arts, every soul pet a Spirit Master in Sakura Soul Country refined would result in the formation of a drop of soul poison that was impossible to digest, absorb, utilize, or dissolve, and its toxicity was extremely terrifying.
