Chapter 504 Confrontation-2
Chapter 504 Confrontation-2
The closest guard stuck the knife toward his torso while the others focused on his limbs. There was no way Samuel would be able to escape if they targeted different parts of his body, but they were wrong.
Samuel leaned back just outside the attacker's range, after which he ducked lightning-fast and attacked his elbow, practically shattering it with his fist. The man immediately dropped his knife, but it was not over.
" Aaaahhhh." The man howled in pain.
He grabbed his extended arm and hurled him around like a meat shield. Others tried to retract their weapons, but it was too late. Three of them directly stabbed the man's back while the two others left deep cuts on his leg and arm.
Samuel didn't give them time to recover and immediately jumped on the next closest person, punching his throat and making gaggle. The two sticks came flying from his back, aiming for the back of his head, but he ducked, and the attack landed on the person holding his throat.
It was not enough to puncture holes, but his arms were scarred when they retracted the sticks. Samuel yanked one of the sticks off them and started swinging it around like a madman.
Within a few seconds, Samuel hunted like prey and became the hunter. He would target their weak spots instantly, making them hurl to the ground in pain. He showed no mercy; if one held his arms up to shield his face, he would attack his ribs, if not their genitals.
Ten men were lying on the floor clutching different parts of their bodies in under a minute, groaning in pain. At this point, Clark was left speechless and scared. He had never thought a kid could take on ten of his best men! How was that even possible?
" See? Rockefeller is not omnipotent. Bunch of bugs trying to flail around acting like tigers. What do you say your name was again?" Samuel finally turned toward Clark, who was pale as a ghost.
" You- Who are you?" he tried to act tough.
"*Swish* I am the one asking questions." Samuel whipped the stick and landed it millimeters away from Clark's face. He couldn't even react and screamed when he saw the end of the bloody stick in front of his face.
" C-clark, Clark Rockefeller." He was meek like a sheep on the outside but seething with anger. Everyone was chuckling, seeing his change colors like a chameleon. Their eyes seemed to ask, 'Where did the arrogant man go from before?'
" Clark? Never heard of you. Stop making trouble for my friends, and I will let you leave the place without injury, if not the Rockefeller would have one less dumbfuck to worry about." Samuel was highly aggressive with his speech. He was already feeling shitty due to what happened with Greyson earlier; he didn't have time to take care of another brat!
Clark was shocked by Samuel's aura; he knew the man was serious with his threat. The man knew about his family's background but went ahead with his proclamation like he didn't even put Rockefeller in his eyes. Did the world change that much since he went outside to play?
He calmed himself down, looked toward Samuel, and nodded. Samuel didn't care anymore," A coward," he thought as he took Emma and the other girl away. Darren wanted to say something but knew it was not good for him to clash with Rockefeller rashly; his friend had taken revenge for insulting Emma. It was good enough for him.
The public also left; they hoped Samuel would fight and smash the arrogant prick's face, but it was too good of a wish to come true. The person who exclaimed knowing about Samuel's identity became the next target of attention as they gathered away from Clark to disclose the mystery regarding him.
Clark Rockefeller furiously smashed the wine glass in his hand; he was turned into a joke. Even if he was scared before, it was not like him to back down after a 'minor' setback. He ordered whoever was left to first tend to the injured.
"What's the background of those two people?"
He turned around and asked the person behind him who tried to warn him before. It was his family's motto to repay the grudges tenfold!
" The person who came first was, Darren Wintringham, the sole heir of the Wintringham family from United states."
" The Wintringham? Never heard of them."
" They have a huge import export but are barely in top twenty families in the States. But that's not what you should be worried about."
" Worried? Why should I be worried?" Clark squinted his eyes.
" I don't mean to disrespect young master, but the person who fought your men is more dangerous and famous nowadays. Samuel Rothschild, who is deemed as the perfect man as he excels in everything!" His followers got a little excited talking about Samuel.
How could he not? He had heard about him and his deeds, but today, he witnessed him fighting the Rockefeller security detail that he first thought was invincible. It was not an exaggeration because he had been following Clark for a few years and had seen them in action.
They were like machines; few would practically throw themselves in a hail of bullets if that meant saving Clark's life. But Samuel was able to stack them on the floor with a few simple moves? There was also an issue that they were not carrying guns, but who cared? He was able to fight them without any weapon. That was an impressive feat in itself!
"Haha ha, I will give him some credit, but I know what a perfect man can achieve, and he isn't anything like him." Instead of feeling angry, Clark was reminded of something different when he heard 'perfect.' His followers didn't understand what he was amused about, but Clark didn't care.
" But Rothschild..hmm.." Clark immediately felt sour when he thought about it. His usual methods would not work, and he couldn't cause bad blood between two families.
It was the head of the family's orders not to mess with big giants, and it applied not only to him but to every member of his family. They had to remain as crucial as possible for the foreseeable future. Clark didn't care much about it; he could usually bury the 'evidence,' but it was impossible this time.
As for the power and financial resources, it was a secret that only the family's elders knew, but he was sure they could take on the Rothschild family if they wanted to. On the surface, Rockefeller may have declined, but it was a ruse to put the public out of their scent.
But he thought it was his fault this time and he had to eat this loss. He started getting mad again, and with nowhere to vent, the sight of Avery, who was shivering on the side, caught his eyes.
"Come with me." Clark Rockefeller glanced at Avery and walked into the bathroom first. Avery, who tried to minimize her sense of existence, knew she was in danger this time. She followed him reluctantly.
