Chapter 220

Chapter 220

I dont know. Is something wrong?

The empty A3 training ground felt awkward, so Seo-jun scratched his cheek.

He had gotten used to seeing Kim Jaeyeon warming up first every week.

Hell be here soon. We agreed to have dinner together tonight. Lets stretch until Aidan arrives.

Okay.

Seo-jun nodded at Anh Da Hos words.

Seo-jun changed his clothes in the locker room and came out to do some light exercises and stretching.

His eyes and hands were drawn to the staff, sword, and spear that were lying on one side, but he decided not to touch them without the trainer.

But youre making fast progress. Youre already halfway through level 2.

As Seo-jun was stretching, Anh Da Ho, who was also warming up for exercise, said.

His body was stiff and sweaty from a simple stretch.

Seo-jun, who was almost stuck to the floor like a mollusk, chuckled at Anh Da Hos appearance.

Aidan said he would finish it in two weeks.

Then youll have plenty of time before filming.

It wasnt like they were doing it every day for a week. They had days off, and Seo-juns learning speed was impressive enough to make Aidan revise his plan every day.

Youre already here?

A familiar voice was heard. Seo-jun and Anh Da Ho looked at the entrance of the training ground. Seo-jun smiled brightly at the welcome faces.

Evan! Rachel!

Hi, Jun.

Jun! You came early!

It was Evan Block and Rachel Hill in their workout clothes.

Did you finish your schedule?

Yeah. I dont have anything else to do until the end of filming.

Me too! I wrapped it up nicely.

Now we can practice together. Hows the training?

Seo-jun answered Evan Blocks question with a smile.

Its fun.

I knew it would be.

Evan Block thought that Seo-jun, who liked and was good at exercising, would also enjoy action practice.

Rachel Hill smiled slightly and asked.

How far have you learned?

Up to here.

Seo-jun brought the script. It was a script that was worn out from being read so much.

Evan Block and Rachel Hill widened their eyes at the part that Seo-jun pointed out. It was the middle part of level 2, the second action scene between Shadowman and Jin Natra.

Thats fast, isnt it? Isnt that really fast?

Yeah.

Seo-jun shrugged his shoulders and sparkled his eyes at the surprised faces of the two actors.

Evan. Do you want to practice this scene?

Jin Natra, Seo-juns words made Shadowman, Evan Block think for a moment.

The trainer taught him this scene, which means he passed the previous part.

Hmm. Lets ask them when they come.

Okay!

As they were talking and stretching, the trainers and stuntmen appeared in the training ground. They greeted each other briefly and asked Aidan for permission. Aidan nodded.

It should be fine if you slow down a bit. You two have to match each other anyway until filming. Jun is so fast at learning that he can practice with other actors from time to time.

With the trainers permission, Rachel Hill quickly brought the staffs to Seo-jun and Evan Block.

The other trainers, stuntmen, and actors also gathered around with interest.

Seo-jun and Evan Block stood apart with their staffs.

Lets start slowly.

Okay.

The first exchange was not much different from practice.

Seo-jun and Evan Block moved slowly as if they were at 0.3 speed.

The sound of their staffs colliding was not loud either because they were so slow.

The trainers and stuntmen evaluated the two actors with sharp eyes.

Theyre pretty good for their first time matching, arent they?

It could be because theyre slow, but its good that they dont hesitate.

Evan has been practicing for months, but Jun is really good too.

Their movements flowed smoothly as if they were dancing together, dodging and attacking.

When the first exchange ended, Seo-jun sparkled his eyes and said.

Evan. Lets go a little faster.

His cheeks were flushed red from excitement.

Evan Block looked at Aidan at Seo-juns question.

Aidan nodded and Seo-jun smiled brightly.

It was only 0.5 speed anyway.

Evan Blocks speed was that much, so Seo-jun couldnt move faster either.

Bang!

Clack!

But it made a decent sound.

The sound of hitting hard and the staff shaking from the impact.

Seo-jun smiled as he gripped the staff with both hands.

Evan Block also smiled at Seo-juns good performance.

They repeated the same scene with increasing speed.

Rachel Hill and other stuntmen left their seats to do their own training, and Aidan was still watching the two actors.

They took a break for a moment.

Seo-jun, who was sitting on the floor and catching his breath, opened his mouth.

Lets do it properly this time. Evan.

Properly? The speed is already normal, isnt it?

As Jin Natra and Shadowman.

The action itself was fun, but he wanted to do it while acting.

It would be more fun that way!

Seo-juns eyes sparkled.

Evan Block thought for a moment at Seo-juns suggestion and nodded.

Then lets do that.

Lets skip the dialogue.

Okay.

Seo-jun and Evan Block faced each other.

Seo-jun straightened his waist and shoulders and looked down at Evan Block as if he was wearing a stiff armor like a knight.

[(Evil) Death Knights Chivalry-Medium is activated.]

[(Evil) Death Knights Chivalry-Medium]

You are an imperial knight resurrected by the power of a necromancer.

You exude the strict dignity of a knight.

Your swordsmanship skill increases when using a sword.

[Caution] Living creatures in the range become dull due to fear.

[Caution] Living creatures in the range are captivated by your magic.

He couldnt use his ability like this.

Seo-jun didnt hesitate and adjusted his magic. The black magic that wrapped around Seo-juns body like armor gradually faded.

[The grade of [(Evil) Death Knights Chivalry-Medium] is temporarily lowered.]

[(Evil) Death Knights Chivalry-Low is activated.]

[(Evil) Death Knights Chivalry-Low]

You are an imperial knight resurrected by the power of a necromancer.

He exuded the dignity of a strict knight.

His skill with the sword increased as he used it.

A faint magic flowed out of him.

And the two actors became Jin Natra, the villain, and Shadowman, the hero.

Huh?

Rachel Hill was the first to notice the changed atmosphere.

She had seen Shadowman and Jin Natra up close before.

She stopped her coordination with the stuntmen and trainers, and they all looked at where Rachel was looking.

Seo-jun and Evan Block were in their positions.

They had the same posture as before, but something was different.

Everyone blinked their eyes and looked at the two actors.

Shadowman, who had defeated countless soldiers and chased after Jin Natra, and Jin Natra, who was about to leave.

Their ready stances were different as their next actions would be different.

Without any dialogue, Evan Block swung his staff.

Seo-jun was far enough to avoid being hit, but it was the scene where a shadow extended by CG would head towards Jin Natra.

Dodge.

Jin Natra dodged Shadowmans shadow by stepping back with his right foot.

Jin Natra, who became Seo-jun, swung his staff towards Evan Blocks side.

Bang!

The staffs collided.

It was as planned, as in the script, that Evan Block blocked it.

For a moment, Seo-jun and Evan Blocks eyes met.

This was where a close-up shot would be inserted.

Seo-jun swung his staff again, striking from the opposite side.

Evan Block blocked the attack as if he had been waiting for it.

Shadowman, who only blocked Jin Natras barrage of attacks.

Seo-jun moved his hands busily, holding the staff short and then long.

Of course, he thought and thought again to make sure that the coordination was accurate so that Evan Block would not get hurt. But he did not forget that he was Jin Natra.

Clack!

Bang! Bang!

Several exchanges of offense and defense followed.

The people who watched them swallowed their saliva.

Evan Block smiled.

Seo-jun seemed to be immersed in his acting.

The Seo-jun who had sparkled his eyes before had disappeared, and Jin Natra with a cold gaze was in front of him.

He felt a chill down his spine.

It was not because Seo-juns staff was scary.

Action scenes required more trust than anything else.

They needed certainty that the action would proceed in a predetermined order.

And Evan Block believed that Seo-jun, who was immersed in his acting, would coordinate accurately.

More than that

It was the atmosphere. Seo-juns atmosphere.

It felt like Seo-juns heavy darkness-like atmosphere had invaded Evan Blocks feet.

This was Jin Natra.

No, did he get stronger?

Evan Block blocked Seo-juns staff again and thought of Jin Natra in Shadowman 2.

And he thought of Jin Natra who forcibly inherited power in Assemble 2.

Jin Natra was getting stronger.

He was amazing.

He did not expect him to act out the grown-up strength as well.

Evan Blocks eyes became serious. He could not afford to lose.

Bang!

Shadowman and Jin Natra clashed.

The fight that seemed to end started again from the beginning.

Wow

They were not Seo-jun and Evan Block, but Jin Natra and Shadowman.

There was no CG and their costumes were different, but their eyes and expressions were the same.

They are amazing, arent they?

Thats why they are professionals.

The stuntmen and trainers who were watching them in awe slowly came to their senses when the two actors returned to their original positions and created some distance.

And they admired them.

There was no different action from before, but it was thrilling.

Bang! Bang!

The sound of two staffs hitting each other echoed in the training ground.

People who were lurking near the training ground because they heard that Evan Block, Rachel Hill, and even Seo-jun Lee were there flocked to the sound.

They could not resist their curiosity even though they knew they should not. Besides, they knew a little bit about Seo-juns physical abilities.

They half-did not believe it because of his amazing record.

As more people gathered, the training ground became noisy, but Seo-jun and Evan Blocks concentration did not waver.

Once again.

Bang!!

Two shadows collided.

***

Lets stop here.

Yes!

Seo-jun smiled brightly after finishing a rehearsal session.

He felt a little sweaty, but he was fine.

He felt refreshed because he could move his body freely and act as well.

[(Intermediate)Angels Fan-Intermediate is activated.]

Seo-jun smiled happily as he purified his magic.

I think we can shoot this scene well. Right, Evan?

Yeah. Lets practice some other scenes later.

Okay!

The short rehearsal stage ended and people quickly dispersed.

Seo-jun, who was wiping his sweat with a towel that Anh Da Ho gave him and drinking water, found Kim Jae Yeon among the remaining people.

Jae Yeon hyung. You came late today. Is something wrong?

He always had a bright face, but today he had a dark shadow on it.

Kim Jae Yeon, who was about to shake his head at Seo-juns concern, opened his mouth after some hesitation.

I think I cant follow your acting even if I can do the action for you. I think the difference will be obvious. What should I do?

Huh?

Seo-jun tilted his head as he did not understand, and Kim Jae Yeon decided to show him.

Kim Jae Yeon called Kevin, Evan Blocks stuntman.

Kevin, who understood Kim Jae Yeons thoughts, nodded his head willingly at Kim Jae Yeons request.

Kim Jae Yeon and Kevin stood facing each other like Seo-jun and Evan Block did before.

They also knew the action of this scene.

Kim Jae Yeon swung his staff towards Kevins side like Seo-jun did.

And Kevin blocked Kim Jae Yeons attack like Evan Block did.

The same exchange of offense and defense as before followed. Everyone could tell that it was the same action.

That was not Jin Natra.

***

After dinner, Kim Jae Yeon went home with the food that Seo Eun Hye packed for him.

He had no car, so the bodyguard who stayed with him took him home.

Another problem arises when I find a useful ability.

He could not ask Seo-jun to tone down his acting because of the stuntmans acting.

I have to find a solution since Im not only shooting Shadowman 3 with the stuntman.

Seo-jun, who wanted to shoot many and various genres of works in the future, quickly lay down on the soft bed, covered himself with a blanket, and closed his eyes.
