President Qin's Little Wife Is The Strongest

Chapter 67

“How was it?” she asked her after class as both of them walked towards the school gate.

“I don’t think I did it well. We haven’t covered some of the topics but it was definitely better than what I would have gotten before.” Sun Li confessed and Rong Yue nodded in understanding. She had also not been expecting that she would be able to get it all right in one week.

When they got outside, Rong Yue paused as she looked at the spot where Sun Li’s driver usually parked was empty. She looked at her in confusion.

“Your driver isn’t here yet?” Rong Yue asked with crinkled brows and Sun Li burst into laughter as she saw her really confused expression.

“You can’t really have forgotten right?” she asked and when she saw that Rong Yue truly had no inclination for what she had said, she shook her head.

“Yue’er, you promised that we were going to study at your place today.”

“I did?” Rong Yue asked as her mind went back to when she had truly said that.

“I already asked my driver to go back earlier this morning and only come to pick me up from school tomorrow afternoon.” she said using the opportunity to let Rong Yue know of her plans to sleep over.

.....

Rong Yue ran her hands through her hair helplessly. Sun Li sleeping over wasn’t a problem. However, she had made plans to go and look for a certain boy that had been entirely absent from school the entire week. Even though she had given him her contact, he hadn’t sent a message or called her this whole time.

She was also worried that her beating up those men would have resulted in some backlash for him and so, she had made the little loli find the information on him like his address and where he worked. All the information had been compiled and sent to her phone and she was planning to stop by someplace to change and then go look for him.

Looking at Sun Li’s eyes that were brimming with the excitement of visiting her place, she sighed and then came to a decision.

“Okay, let’s go.” she said and then moved in the direction of the bus station.

“How do you go home?” Sun Li asked curiously as she just followed Rong Yue without a word.

“Bus station.”

Very quickly the both of them got down in the area that Song Qian lived in. For Sun Li, who had no idea that it was Song Qian they were here for, she felt a burst of pity at seeing where Rong Yue lived. Even though she had moved from the area that Tong Yang had taken them to, Sun Li had thought that she had moved to some place that was better and was not expecting that they had moved to an even more degrading place.

“Yue’er, is it safe to stay here? You didn’t have to insist on coaching me for free.” she murmured the last part as she was afraid that Rong Yue would think that she was planning to give her some pity money.

“It’s fine, just be careful as it can be quite dangerous in areas like this.” Rong Yue said as she grabbed her hand. Back in her area, even with her outstanding beauty, most of them knew that they had more money than even Rong Yue and her mother while they also didn’t harm her because many times when they had injuries they couldn’t take to the hospital because of the gun ban in china, they would resort to Rong Xia to treat them. But in a place that no one knew her like here, the both of them had an appearance that already had people having wild thoughts.

Sensing all the bad intentions that were being sent their way, Rong Yue took Sun Li’s hands and held her tightly as she looked for the house that Song Jian stayed in.

When they got to the address, Rong Yue started to reevaluate the kind of life that the young boy was living. It was an uncompleted four storey building with people having used clothes and nylons and wrappers to cover the windows. She looked around carefully and then led Sun Li to a corner where two girls sat doing some laundry.

“Hello,” she greeted politely while also making sure that she stood at a distance that made them feel safe enough.

Sun Li looked at her curiously and also greeted as she felt maybe they were neighbours. Somehow, because she felt this was a place that Rong Yue lived in, she didn’t feel unsafe and just looked around curiously.

“We are Song Jian classmates and we just wanted to ask if you have seen him around as we have been unable to reach him.”

Upon hearing her words, one of the two girls, the younger one, stiffened as she looked around carefully.

“Who are you? Don’t you know that you will implicate him by coming here in your uniform and asking for him?” the older one said accusatively as she glared at the two girls.

“Please go away and never come back.” she raised her hand and waved it in a dismissive manner as she sent both girls away.

“I’m sorry, I forgot to think about that, however, I’m here because I want to help him, he has been unable to take classes and he’s also not accepting monetary help from me.” Rong Yue said in the most agreeable tone that she could use.

“Elder sister, those men have taken my brother away and we haven’t seen him in three days.” the younger one blurted out and then burst in tears.

Although Sun Li was confused, she felt that she had a little idea of what was going on. Also, because of her military upbringing, she was able to tell that asking questions was not the best solution at this point.

“Pa!” the older sister delivered a slap to the younger girl making the girl wail even louder.

“Please save my brother...h...he is already doing his best...” the younger girl managed to say amidst tears. At this point, Rong Yue abandoned boundaries and moved to where the girl was despite how the older one was glaring at her.

“If you care about him, then you should know that he might not return alive. I can help him pay all the remaining debt so it’s either you move over or you tell me everything you know.” Rong Yue told the girl, her voice was stern and determined and the girl sighed in relief.

“I can lead you there, if you dare to go.” the girl said as she bent down to rinse her hands that still had some soapy foam on them.

“Lead the way.”

Like that, two girls in uniform and one slightly younger one left the building after the older one had sent her younger sister upstairs.

When he had listed his problems, Song Jian had failed to mention anything like siblings, making her think that it was just him and his mother. Now that she discovered that he even had two sisters that didn’t look like they were attending school, she felt even more loathe than she had felt before towards his father.

The girl, whose name was Song Yan, led them to a park where she made them use tricycles and after a ten minutes drive, she stopped the tricycle in front of a huge building.

“Because of the amount of money that we owe, they seemed to have reported him to their big boss the moment he came to our city. He’s the one that ordered that they bring him over this time.” Song Yan explained as they walked towards the huge black building.

Even during the day, six bouncers that looked like they just returned from a massacre stood in front of the building. The nearer they got, the more fretful Song Yan became and even Sun Li who had been putting a strong front the whole time cowered slightly.

“Yue’er, if you want to save him, do you think i should call home? It’s dangerous here.” she murmured to her in a voice that only Rong Yue could hear.

“No need. All they need is their money.” she told her and then patted her palm gently twice.

“We are here to pay the debt that Song Jian owes and take him back.” she declared as soon as they got to the front of the bouncers.

The six bouncers looked at the three slender and frail looking girls and burst out laughing.

“Are you in the wrong place? Leave quickly, some of the bosses here happen to like little beauties like you.” one of them said and waved a dismissive hand at them.

Rong Yue looked at each one of them for a minute before she let out a chilly and cold chuckle.

“I happen to like weak men with an over inflated ego like you also.” she said coldly and swung her fists out immediately.
